Default coolant air bleed valve

Hi Guys

The truck's a '03 1500 4.7L 4X4.

Been trying to get the air out of the heater core using a funnel in the expansion tank. (Got really tired of hearing fluid gurgling behind the dash on the passenger side...) Two sessions and I seem to have burped most of it out, and am getting some nice heat again in the cab.

Problem is I still can't quite get that last bit of air (can still hear a little bit of coolant gurgling...) out, and I'm thinking that maybe I should be opening the bleed valve as well, even though the valve itself is lower than the raised point of the funnel where I add coolant.

Any thoughts? Anyone familiar with using the bleed valve?

Pull the cap, park nose up. I don't think there is a bleed screw.
