Default 04 5.7 hemi ignition wires

Can anyone recommend a descent set of spark plug wires for under $80? I wanted the MSG 8.5mm ... too much $$$ plus they would not be able ro fit in the original crossover tray made for 7mm wires. Doesnt seem to be a auto part store in Richmond VA that sells descent wires.

I had to buy a set, courtesy of one of the local tree rats that chewed through one of my MSDs:

I know your trying to be money wise. Good wires will cost you, the up side is they will last 4 times longer.

Just saw this post and I often wonder why people try to save 10 or 15 bucks when it will cost them hundreds later?

OEM Mopar is the only way to go. I know many people have tried all of the other "shorties" and build your own kits for horsepower but for 100 bucks you get a true Mopar harness that fits perfectly and I got 100k off of my last set without any spark knock. Just figured it was time to change them due to age; same as with my drive belt. Maintenance and "proper" maintenance is what makes these trucks so dependable and shows how well engineered they really are.
Just my 2 1/2 cents

04 Ram 1500 QCSB 4WD Hemi, OEM off-road 17's, BFG-LT's, Airraid CAI, Cortex 3950, Magnaflow y-pipe, Detroit TT rear, Mag Hytec trans and rear, SRT A-pillar w/autometer trans temp, 190 t-stat, pwr stop drilled/slotted all 4, pwr wire, grnd T-body

Well by that logic why didn't you stick with your well engineered Mopar air intake? Or your well engineered Mopar exhaust system, trans pan and rear diff cover, OEM brakes and tires, thermostat, A pillar and LSD lol?

After considering my blurting out I have to concede to the fact that not all of the Mopar stuff is that well engineered. Otherwise why would I be considering opening up my motor to change out exhaust valve springs due to inferior craftsmanship??? And my rear diff going out too!!!!!
I am still awfully proud of how well this vehicle has held up compared to the many I have had over the years.
Thanks,
