Default cylinder 8 low compression test, need new motor?

I have the 4.7 and just found out my #8 cylinder is low on compression. 75%. They said it should be 125 or 150. I asked what can be done to fix it and they said get a new motor. Apparently special tools are needed to work on the 4.7?

Is there no way to fix a low compression cylinder?

Pull the head. May have a blown head gasket. If that's the case, depending on mileage you maybe can just do head gaskets. (both sides).
