2007 ram 2500 st single cab, 5.7 hemi, auto trans 4x4

just picked this truck up last week. Wasn't looking for one but the price was so cheap I couldn't pass it up.

It has no power options. What is involved to add power locks and keyless entry?

If i gotta run wiring from the doors to the a-pillar; I'm up for it....running it to the cluster may be more work than i want.

for keyless entry do i just need a transmitter or does the skreem need to be swapped?
anyone done this?

Probably cheaper to go aftermarket and let someone else deal with the pain of integrating into the canbus system.

 

as far as i can tell:
the power locks aren't on the can bus ccn straight output to the locks...keyless entry will have some can communication.
the power windows are powered straight from the window switches

the remote start kit just needs the options added to the build and a module reconfiguration

I gotta find out what wiring is in place
