Transfer case shifting on its own
2006 Mega Cab 2500
Transfer case has been shifting on its own with the key off. The other day I got in and it was stuck in Neuteral. Had to disconnect the battery a few times before it shifted back. Service 4WD light comes on when this happens. I've cleaned and dielectric greased all TIPM and case connections, didn't help. I'm hoping it's not the TIPM, as I had that replaced several years ago at a cost of $750, and feeling sick about having to replace it again. I currently have it disconnected at the case, so I don't get stranded.
