I have a 2006 Dodge ram 1500 4X4 4.7L V-8. The engine light came on and was showing o2 sensors. I have two of the o2 sensors changed. Check engine light came back on and was showing multi cylinder misfire along with loosing power and jumping. So I changed the spark plugs. I got in my truck this morning to go to work and the engine light came back on lost power and started jumping then cleared up engine light stayed on. Not sure what to check for next.

My latest problem is when I first Crank up the truck it has no power and wants to jump then the power will come back and run fine. I changed out the Spark plugs and the problem still continues. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

sounds like a fuel problem to me. could be pump or injectors. check fuel rail pressure. o2 codes could be from lean or rich running conditions. that would make a engine run rough and seam weak on power. might want to try some injector cleaner and new fuel. hope the tank isnt full or makes the job a lot worse.

 

sounds like a throttle positioning sensor, cheap fix about 100.00 from dealer.bolts right into throttle body, takes about 2 minutes to swap out
