Default 4x4 engages on its own

I have an 06 dodge ram 1500 hemi 4x4 and the 4wd light will come on all on its own even when im going 80+ on the highway, I can feel the truck jerk back as it engages and sometimes it will turn itself on and back out 4 or 5 times a minute! wondering what part or fuse I can pull to stop the problem. 4x4 module fuse does not do the trick!

I am having the exact same issue. Dealer has determined it is a faulty Transfer case actuator motor. I haven't purchased a new one yet, but in the meantime I have disconnected the wiring to the motor. Easy to do, and will keep it from doing serious damage if it decides to shift into 4 low while you're driving down the highway. It will change positions even with the key out. 15 minute replacement time, not a big job. Dealer wanted $1200 to replace that and the connector pigtail. I can get the part for less than $200, so obviously I'm doing it myself.

Did either of you get this issue fixed? If so, what did you do?

The new actuator solved my problem.
