Swap Passenger and Driver's front seats
Hello, has anyone tried to swap front seats? my driver's side is worn out but the passenger is like new. seat belt attachment seems a complication. Appreciate any advice. thanks,
passenger side to driver side seat cushion foam swap id what you might want to do. unbolt a passenger seat from the slide rails and remove the bottom cushion. its held on with black plastic clips. a little modification is required like cutting off the side flap and cutting holes for the level to secline your seat or for the power seat option you have to cut a recangle out for the swiths. I also recomend using some adhesive spay glue and putting fabric on the under side to prevent it getting cut/smashed apart by the seat frame.
i do this to every truck i get. the side of the seat tears and or the foam wears out. only draw back is it wont have the flap to hide under the seat / the slide rails and it will give you about a 1/2 inch gap or less between the driver seat and the center seat but that does make a nice storage spot to wedge things into.

the recline feature is built into both sides of the seat frame. all you need to do is pull the plastic shaft the handle mounts to and stick it on the other side. the seats are not complicated. just pull the cover and foam off and get to work. common sense stuff once its uncovered.
