Picking a spot for my uber rusty '98 in the junkyard now......

Questions about the 3rd gen:

Can you get a 4WD 6 cylinder? I am only plowing my personal property and a 6 cyl would work, especially if they can be found cheaper. But must be 4WD.

Would my plow frame bolt up to a 3rd gen if it fits a '98? I know many may not know the plow/frame specifics, just wondering. I could get another frame head for a newer truck if need be. Were there major frame changes up from from gen 2 to 3?

I'd love to find a dry, non-quad cab short bed 4WD, 6 or 8 cyl. Would be willing to travel for it also.
