05 dodge ram 1500. 4.7 crew cab
So I got this truck and it must have been a farm truck lots of slush in motor plus other problems so I flushed motor and did a bunch of stuff and in the in end having low end tick/knock so I bought a 02 same everything I pulled the motor tranny transfercase out of both trucks and figured I could swap them at first everything worked out but then would not start so after running some tests the 05 ram has a 32 tooth panletarygear and the 02 has a 16 tooth gear plus cam gear was different too so I pulled the motor back out of truck and tore it down did berrings gaskits the works had to pull crank out to change that gear so I did all of that and gotg itg back in truck and realized that thed 02 dosed not have egr valve at all on the head it is just not there and my 05 has it so I just plugged my egr in and dissent acualy bolt it in and the truck runs but stalls and wen u try to start it u have to give it gas to make it start need some help with any information on how I would hook up or delete the egr to make the truck run properly. Thank you!!!!!!
