My '04 Ram dash is posessed!
At 15k the guages on my Hemi Ram 1500 started going haywire! Can happen hot or cold, wet or dry. The guages will all drop to the bottom all at once or one at a time. The warning lights all come on and the warning bells start chiming again and again. The headlights will automatically come on, but the turn signals, 4 ways, or horn won't work. It is back at the dealer for the 4th time (about 23 days so far) and the dealer has called for a Chrysler engineer to come look at it. Any ideas?
Thanks

This could be good. Check your warranty, after a certain amount of time, if they can't fit it they will give you a new one. 23 total days seems like if they haven't fixed it now, it might never be fixed.
23 days at the dealer!!! This is worse than absurd.
Doesn't your state have a Lemon Law? For many, there is a number of days/number of times at dealer without repair that triggers the law, if you want to use it and can document your travails.
All the best.

My last truck (2000 Dakota, 4x4, Club Cab, 4.7L, Sport) had a grounding problem in the dash. The dash grounding strap came loose, and my AC blower motor would intermittently drop out, the internal cab light dial would turn the AC console lights on instead, and I had other various and weird electrical problems as a result.
After tightening down the one bolt that grounded the strap, and thus grounding the dash, all my problems went away. Sounds like you have a ground loop, or a shorted connection somewhere.
