04 Ram 2500 2wd Suspension Lift??
I just purchased a 2004 Ram 2500 (Cummins '600') and was searching for a lift kit...but haven't found one for the 2wd model???
I decided to stay away from the 4x4 since I hate having leaf springs in the front...it absolutely kills the turning radius. Plus, it will be used primarily to tow an '85 Military Humvee (m998).....and there's not much sense trying to offroad a Ram when you have one of these
If anyone has information about where I can locate a suspension lift for my 2wd I would greatly appreciate it......
PS: I HIGHLY recommend the Banks Six Gun Bundle...its got everything you need and keeps the turbo in a safe range....cant wait to turn some heads at the track!

RE: 04 Ram 2500 2wd Suspension Lift??
I just put a Fabtech 6" lift on my 2wd and I'm lovin' it![sm=smiley20.gif]
I paid 2800$ OTD for my lift kit and 35"X17" tires with 17" Extreme Alloy wheels from 4 Wheel Parts Wholesalers in Compton.

RE: 04 Ram 2500 2wd Suspension Lift??
....that 6" lift is pretty sweet. It's too bad they don't make one for a 2500 (yet). I just got off the phone with the Fabtech guy and he said they have something in the works
I also found a copmany called CST (California Super Trucks) and they make a 9"-15" lift for the Chevy 2500 2wd....so hopefully we can see something similar for the Dodge in the near future.

RE: 04 Ram 2500 2wd Suspension Lift??
I went thru the same thing with my 1500 2wd. It took Fabtech 2 years to make a 6" lift for my truck. There were others out there that had them (CST, Full Throttle), but I held out for Fabtech. I still have problems finding things for my truck (programmers..things like that). and mine has been out going on 3 years..[&o] Be patient, something will come along.

RE: 04 Ram 2500 2wd Suspension Lift??
I'm also looking to lift my '04 1500 QC 4.7L. Redhawk, LOVE your truck. Would love to get mine up there with yours. I want to go Fabtechs 6" suspension lift. I already have a 2" leveling kit w/ 285/70/17 B.F. A/T. Do I need to remove the leveling kit in order to allow for the suspension lift! Anyone? Redhawk, let me know what you end up regearing to. Looking to do the same while my truck is being lifted. One more thang, How bad would it look if I left the 285's under a 6" lift? Just bought the tires (4,000 mi). Should I look to sell and upgrade to 315's, or would it look alright. Also, what size width are your 35's? Can I even get some extra width on my 285's w/ the purchase of new 17" wheels? Could I go with 20's? Maybe that would look good! Preciate the help!
