Default Beep similar to seat belt beep randomly while driving

I have a 2014 Dodge Journey RT, and out of nowhere it beeped two different times on me this morning while driving. All seat belts were buckled, but the beep was similar to that beep. Only once, then nothing. No dash lights, or any other indicators of why it is doing it. It did it twice in one care trip, 1st shortly after I pulled out of the driveway, and then again after I dropped my daughter off at school. We had some snow on the roads that we haven't had since I purchased the vehicle, so didn't know if that would have anything to do w/ it. Also noticed the brake pedal seemed pretty stiff when I went to start the car up that morning too. IDK, ANY SUGGESTIONS

Hi StephH,

If you decide to visit your local dealership for further diagnosis of your concerns I'd be happy to offer assistance if needed. Just send us a PM with your VIN and let me know!

Chime will occur if your turn signal is left on too long. That’s the only time it doesn’t coincide with a light on the dash. I would check your warning lights. Low fuel, check engine, etc.
