Default 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 w/Hemi 4x4

Newbie here...

I'm about to replace my struts this weekend. After watching several you tube videos it looks to be straight forward. My question is this...

While I have the upper ball joint disconnected and the wheel bearing exposed should I just go ahead and replace the wheel bearings? The truck has 117k so I'm thinking it might be close to swapping them out? What would you guys/gals do??

If I do replace the wheel bearings do I need to remove the axle or is there enough room to gain access to the three bolts that mount the wheel bearing.

Thanks!!

struts? if you mean shocks then nothing needs pulled to do it. as far as wheel bearing you would have to unbolt the front cv that goes thru the middle of the bearing but if the bearings are tight then save the money for when they do need replaced
