2006's whos got 'em?
I believe LemonRam is spamming. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if it's some guy that owns a chevy or ford and attempting to stir the pot.
Anyway on to the question, YES, YES, and YES! I love my 2006 QC Laramie HEMI powered truck! At first I was a little disappointed going from a 2004 to the 2006 but now I've come to appreciate the ride.
I now have 2,300 miles indicated and thus far the MPG is definitely better, especially on the freeway. The truck is much quieter and the ride is more defined.
In other words, I'm happy with my decision to upgrade to the 06.
H.H.

I've had mine for about 2 weeks now and I love it. I love the room, the power and quiet cab ride.
The first day I got it I drove it out the in-laws out of town and got around 18 mpg or so. Now, in the city it's between 13 and 15 depending on my foot. I'm sure I'm about the same or better than my old 3.9 Dakota as I had to floor it just to merge and keep up with traffic (not even speeding). With the ram, I barely have to touch the gas and she goes. I'm surprised on how high it sits for a 4x2. I'm right up there with Ford and Chevy 4x4's. I do like that though. I can see further ahead than before.

I have an 06 Black TR4X4 and love it. I am running around 15 in town and almost 18 on the highway. I am at about 2K on miles and hope that it will improve a little more. I got about the same mileage on my pontiac grand prix that i had before so im not in the worst of moods about gas mileage.
I picked up my 06 Hemi QC 1500 4x4 on 4/28/06, and here's my comments:
DISCLAIMER: I freely admit I work for the financial end of DCX, and got a stellar discount.
Traded in my 03 1500 ST QC 4x4 with 28500 miles. Got $17500 in trade, owed $10,800.
$5000 cash back, ($4k incentive, additional $1k for financing through my employer) and an employee discount of about $5100.
Dropped my payments $90/month and put me into a better truck... Here's the features:
Thunder Road Package (Sirius Radio, 6 CD with MP3, Infinity system) 20" rims, body trim, light package... Power everything (but seats, who cares!)
Trailer Tow Group
Secure and Sound group
Light Group
Protection Group
And the biggest kicker? It gets darn near 20% better mileage than my 4.7 did... I'm in love.
I picked it up and went for a 275 mile round trip in 48 hours (through some heinous Philly traffic) and only burned half of a 26 gallon tank. My 4.7 would have been almost on fumes... I love the MDS... Not a real savings in PennDot congestion, but the minute she stretches her legs on the highway, you save.... BIG TIME. About 14/15 in town, but per the trip computer (and my refill calcs) close to 23+ on the highway!!! And this was with a VERY wind-catching load (read as: 4 poster bed and a grill) in the bed.
Did I say I'm in love!?!? [8D]

Just picked mine up yesterday
... I can't believe its getting better mileage than the 04 Dakota wes getting. Driving it back from the dealership, I was getting 17.7 and still climbing. Too bad my exit came up. I had an 03 1500 QC 4X4 I bought used. I think it was badly abused and cost me alot of money in 11 months just before the tranny let go. Enter the Dakota! Nice truck, but kinda felt like a clown car after riding around in the 1500. Anyway. glad to be back in a full sized truck and love ride. Now if I can just get the keys back from the misses
