Wipers don't work on intermiittent?

Default Wipers don't work on intermiittent?
2007 Dodge Ram 1500 base truck. New multi function switch but when I turn the switch to delay the wipers only work on slow with no delay! The handle shows that they should be a delay. Also the wipers won't park right, the just stop where ever I stop them! Steve
