Cool Steering wheel tilt lever broke off........

As I was adjusting the position of my steering wheel, the TILT LEVER broke off. How do I go about replacing the TILT LEVER, & is this an easy job or are there springs involved complicating THINGS????

Have you tried removing the covers around the steering column and looking at the lever? Most generally they will have a screw holding the lever onto the column. I had to remove those on many cars that I installed remote car starters in to access some of the wiring.

If you are doing this under cold conditions be very careful not to break the covers. I would usually warm the inside of the car up by using the heater to make the plastic parts more pliable.
