I am new here, and thought I would ask a question. I have a 2003 Quad Cab 4x4 with 45,000 miles and a hemi. Recently, the ABS and brake lights came on. When I shut the truck off, there was a "grinding" noise coming from under the hood. When I investigated, it seemed to be coming from the ABS box near the master cylinder. I finally pulled the fuse in order to turn it off. Any ideas? I am thinking of taking it to the dealer, but don't exactly have the cash at this point.

 

Does OBD-II have ABS codes? If it does, go to Autozone and get the codes read. It should narrow down what could be wrong.
