Squeaking when turning left but nothing when off the ground.
I recently had my radiator blow up on me. I replaced that, all the hoses and the thermostat also. A few weeks later my front end is starting to squeal badly when turning left and only slightly when turning right and it seems to come from the driver side. After doing a little research online I divided to jack it up and test to see if it was coming from the boots. Well when it's off the ground I don't get any noise at all. Also it hasn't been knocking or popping, on the squealing. Anyone know what this might be?
Could be a bearing, could be a shock, could be a sway bar link or bushing, could be an idler wheel on the front of the engine from the radiator issues, could be the water pump, could be the power steering. It could be a lot of things from the squeal. However if it has to do more when turning, I would have to guess more along the line of it might be the power steering pump. Start checking that and then go on to the rest of the items if the pump is good. Good luck!
