Default chirp when breaking

Just recently, when I hit the brakes there is an audible chirp, squeak sound that comes from the pedal. It doesn't do it all the time but more than enogh to be annoying. I checked to see if the rubber was loose and it wasn't. Any ideas?

That is interesting. My 2005 has just under 10K on it. Occasionally when I press the brake pedal it "creeks", not the brakes, but the pedal. I would not call it a squeak, but I guess they are about the same sound. You can almost feel it on your foot.

Yeah, my break pedal squeaks too. I haven't really looked to see what is causing it, but usually the radio is up loud enough that I can't hear it.

Mine just started too, got about 12K on it. Will investigate a little more when I have some spare time, possibly this weekend.
