keys

When I got my used 2005 SLT 1500 there was only 1 key and no FOB, however, I have sensed replaced the FOB's and they work great. The key was a plain copy. When I ordered 2 keys off eBay they are grey and looks like they have a chip in them I think. Can I just get them cut and use them?

Did the ebay ad state they were chipped keys? The ads normally tell you. Or email the seller.

Grey keys are usually valet keys.

You can use a chipped key in a non SKIM vehicle, but not the other way around.
