Well, I guess I better run to the dealership and try to find a 2005 with a 6 speed manual to compare, and I better hurry! If you have a 2005 Ram 1500 (and that is what I have) and it is a 6 speed manual, it IS the same tranny as mine.. I don't mind the long throw (as someone earlier said "It is a truck"), but the "notchy" feel is terrible from 1st into 2nd. Almost makes it hard to drive sometimes as the shift takes so long (and you really can't "hurry it") that the RPMs drop a bunch before you GET into 2nd.. Thanks spiffdank3.7
