Exhaust woes
Hi,
We have a 05 1500 Hemi with 6500 miles and have had the engine light come on for the 5th time. They replaced one o2 sensor the first time and then 3 days later the engine light came back on. They replaced the second 02 sensor at that time. 5 days later the engine light comes back on and they replace the Cat. 14 days later the engine light comes on and they replace both o2 sensors and the cat together. 19 days later the engine light comes on and they say that Dodge says to change out the entire exhaust. The service manager said that the o2 sensors were melted in and couldn't be removed. Anyone have any thought on what would make both o2 sensors melt. Thanks in advance.
Hoss
P.S. Sorry
I thought I was in 3rd Generation to post this.

Check your state's lemon law!
There is no legitimate reason for this. If it is running that hot (lean) something is direly wrong, computer or some sensor (and not the 02s). You don't want this truck; but, you already know that. THIS IS NOT NORMAL! Yikes!
Good luck.
