Default HVAC stopped working.

The fan works but can't change temp, use AC or choose which vent is supplied. Checked all fuses. Now what?

2006 Ram 2500, with a Cummins, if that matters.

So when you press the AC button, it doesn't light up?

Correct, the AC light does not light up. The only thing that works in that cluster is the fan.

You've checked the connection on the back, and/or as much of the harness you can see just to be sure? Because if it's plugged in right and fuses, etc are good, then it sounds like a bad unit.
