Default RE: CB Radios - Which one and where to mount?

I run a buisness band radio in mine. Mounted it under the driver seat, seems to be working out really well so far. There are concerns with the anteana mounting location. Seems that the radio signal can interfere with the other wiring and/or computer somehow. Had a friend that mounted it fender mount and when he keyed the mike, it did some weird stuff. So something as a FYI because I am unclear if a CB will do the same as a buisness band. I did a roof mount and no problems there. In my 05' manual, it mentions install hints in the back of the manual (very last page I think) for radio's or cb's. But I know what you mean, there is very few options for mounting locations in the newer rigs. Let me know where you end up mounting it and how it works out.

I did a roof mount on mine and it works fine. Cobra makes a good CB but the General Lee 3300 or the Connex 3300 is the way to go.
