So I pull into a gas station, grab the key, and turn off the ignition. The instant the ignition is shut off, the panic alarm goes off, and for the next three minutes or so, I am unable to turn it off (the alarm). I can start the truck, I can drive it around, I can do whatever I want except turn the f'k'n panic alarm off.

Any possibility I did something inadvertant to cause this? I'm pretty sure I didn't accidentally hit the panic button on my key chain, since I grabbed the key to shut it down and not the remote. Was there a way I should have been able to disable the panic alarm? I don't even have a security alarm installed (factory or otherwise), so I'm assuming it is the panic function that went off.

Anyone else experience this?
