Default No Crank/Start after dropping Driveshaft

So the other day I was on the highway at about 65mph, moved to the center lane in accelerated to 70 when I suddenly got some major vibration and loss of power. I got to the shoulder in about a quarter mile and came to a stop. It turned out that I blew the front U-Joint on the driveshaft. I got the driveshaft fixed up and reconnected.

Now the vehicle will not start. I get power to all accessories but no crank at all. I'm seeing codes 0600 and 4160. I've tried disconnecting the battery for awhile, checked all fuses and no results. The battery is only six months old, but I tried jumping the vehicle anyway, still no change. I swapped relays around and no change.

This is a 2002 AT 2WD V8 5.9L. I've only had the truck for about a month, so I'm not sure about the maintenance history.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

A quick easy check is to give the starter a tap with hammer while someone else is turning key. If it cranks problem in starter or solenoid.
Next is check for 12v at starter solenoid trigger wire when key is in crank position
IF no 12v there start checking wires..neutral safety switch and ignition switch.
and of course a good strong battery with good connections and proper main feed to starter.

Thank you for your reply. I had really skipped the starter in my troubleshooting since I lost power on the highway when I initially dropped the driveshaft. After evading your post I decided to check out the starter in more detail. What I noticed was that the port for the trigger wire had broken out of the solenoid.

After a few attempts, I was able to find just the right position and the truck fired right up. At least now, I can do my permanent repairs in my own driveway instead of the Dickeys BBQ parking lot.

Thanks for the help!
