So I want to add a MDS light on my dodge's dashboard with a green led. I know that you connect the LED to ground and +12V to the solenoid wire for MDS but what's the best way to prevent the LED from shorting against the dash PCB? I'm thinking of placing it on the bottom right of my black dash cover/plastic trim, the part that goes inbetween the gauges and etc. Also what's a good resistor value?
