My dad has a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab. I want to get him these wheels for Christmas.



The specs are:

17x8 Size 5x5.5 Bolt Pattern 4.5" Back Spacing

It is my understanding that the stock wheels are 17x8 with a bolt pattern of 5x139.7mm. I did the calculation and 139.7mm =5.5in. Am I correct in assuming that these wheels will fit? Also is the backspacing sufficient? Thanks in advance guys.

 

yup, they should fit no problem. You need to find out what the offset is though. Best thing to do is call whomever you plan to buy them from. They would be happy to help you out. Good Luck

 

From the backspacing figure (4.5") one can tell that the "offset" is zero (right in the middle of the total width, outside edge to outside edge [9"]).
