Default Rear end slip issues in 07?

So, when accelerating from a stop there is a moment of lag so to speak, and a distinct "clunk" as the tranny and rear end seem to be engaging the axles is best way to describe it. I bought her a yr ago, it has a body lift on the rear axle but isnt level so I know my front end isnt happy rn, I've got U bolts n shocks n such to bring it to factory ride again just haven't had time, I mention the rear lift cuz I figure its related, just wanted some opinions on where the slop is, pinion gear? It has 160kish on it. Runs great, shifts great, has some rocker cancer and I've sprung a driverside valve cover leak . But, I love the truck and I've decided itll.b a part of the family for good as our full size truck at least until I can afford a Cummins. Thanks!
