Default Brownish-white residue-underside Oil cap

03' Dodge Ram 1500 5.7L 4x4 199k mi:
Burning some oil between oil changes not excessive for this mileage vehicle. Where is this residue originating from? No brownish white on dipstick when checking oil level.
-What should I be aware for the next 50k miles?
-Is it time to sell the truck?
-Is there any preventive repair(s) to correct?
-Do I have to be concerned at this point?
Thanks.

As long as the oil in engine is not cloudy or brownish then its probably ok ,,if its in the oil could be head gasket or something along that line,,but with these Hemi motors including my own and others I have talked to it was condensation that builds under cap due to starting motor an not letting it warm up before shutting off,,quick starts an shutting off are a lot of what causes the issue under oil cap as well at pcv , also check your pcv and make sure its working as that can cause it to use oil if its not working properly as it can also get condensation an clog up,,when I purchased my truck about 6 months ago it was 4 quarts low on oil an had condensation under cap an pcv was clogged up,,ran some sea foam in fuel an in engine and changed pcv and hasn't gotten low since and cap is better not as brownish after I cleaned everything an did complete tune up it runs as good as new

Dodge says it’s normal. I’ve had it under the cap for 170K miles. Oil in the pan is fine. I wipe it out every oil change.

I put one of those blue shop paper towels under the cap on my 4.7. You can easily do that without blocking anything or risk it going down the tube. Solved that problem. I change it every few weeks. While it may be normal it just makes me feel better not to have that condensation there.
