Default Lights stuck on high beams

2007 Dodge Ram 1500

Last night I got in the truck and turned the lights on, and noticed the high beams indicator on the dashboard. I had not used my high beams the previous time I drove. I pushed the button to turn off the high beams but they won't turn off. The lights will turn off completely if I turn the **** to the off position, but when I turn them back on, they're stuck on high beams. Does anyone know what could be causing this?

The lights aren't controlled by the multifunction switch on this vehicle though, they're controlled by a **** to the left of the steering wheel column. The switch only controls the turn signals and wiper blades. Could the switch still somehow be causing the high beam problem?

Oh, my bad. But yes, I'd suspect the switch.
