Default 5.7 to 6.1 valve springs

Did a bit of reading . 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 5.7. Use 16 evhaust valves. 8 6.1 intake push rods. 8. 6.1 exhaust rush rods. Stock cam. What brand do u recommend ? Comp, Manley ? People who did the upgrade. Do u have the part numbers ? Where would you recommend buying from . Thanks in advance.
I’m sure this question was asked a million times. Thanks for any input .

You hear about lots of failures with 03 valve springs, not so much for other years. Probably a manufacturing heat treating problem with the steel. Supplier obviously fixed the issue by the 04 model year. Think I would just go with stock replacement 5.7 springs from a decent manufacturer.

Read a bit further, it isn't recommended to use 6.1 springs and rods on a stock 5.7 cam because the 5.7 and 6.1 base circle are different. The spring and pushrod upgrade are geared towards a 6.1 cam base circle, which is what all the aftermarket cams for that engine are based on. If you aren't going to swap your cam (which with a 2003 you don't have a plethora of choices) there are good 5.7 replacement springs. For perspective though, I have a 2003 1500 with almost 160,000 miles and haven't had one break on me yet. You only ever hear about the problems, not the ones that never have the problem.
