2008 6.7 - electronic malf. lite comes on, then truck looses power, bucks, shifts hard, surges---tryed new fuel pedal,both batts.w/all new cables---been fighting this for a long time, truck has had egr delete, smarty jr. tuner, Please help--thank's

its throwing code--1st.-PO2121. 2nd.--no #, says acc. pedal perfomance sensor #1 low voltage, 3rd.--, acc.pedal perfomance sensor #2--low voltage, no numbers for last two -- does that mean low voltage coming into the pedal or low voltage coming out of the pedal?

 

p2121 is a accelerator position sensor 1 performance code but if any other accelerator position codes are set...they are to be diagnosed first. I would need to know those codes but your scan tool doesn't show them. have the codes read with a different scan tool.

low voltage codes are typical due to open or shorted wires. the fault can only be the app sensor, wiring or pcm. figure out all the codes and I can help you.

 

1st. code-po2121,2nd.-po2122----------------voltage is 0.04 -- acc. pedal sensor #1, voltage is 0.02 for scc. pedal sensor #2------ after driving 20 miles or so, electronc malf. lite comes on and instsntly has a power reduction, if i shut truck off and restart, warning lite goes off and power is restored
