Fog lights turn on with Key OFF
HI All,
I'm new to the forum and hope you can help me please.
I've got a 2008 2500 Mega Cab 5.7 hemi. Been pretty good until recent. The fog lights come on ~20 seconds after exiting the vehicle with key off and just after the courtesy cabin lights go off. Open front driver or passenger door and light goes out until courtesy lamp extinguishes then back on. I've looked at wiring in front end (aftermarket Renegade bumper) and it all looks OK. I put a meter on the connector at bulb and its got 8.75 volts. Is it back feeding from a short somewhere? I'm at a loss. Any help appreciated.
Second item, broken wires in rear door harnesses. Any recommendations on where to purchase replacements. I've fixed the driver side a couple times. It's a wreck now... Or can I take the pins out of plug some how and move the solder joints back into door?
