Default Grill removal..?

I'm planning on purchasing a stainless steel grill insert for my 05 ram and was wondering how difficult it is to remove the plastic billet looking grill I have now? From looking it over it seems like it just snaps in somehow. Any instructions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

It's just held in by those plastic snaps.

If you are carfull, you can reuse them, but most grills come with new ones.

I installed the Street Scene stainless inserts in my 05 ram over the summer.....took me about an hour or so.

its easy...just time consuming to make sure you dont scratch up the grill itself (not the insert)

the factory grill inserts are held in by little black pins that you have to push the center through with a solid thin screwdriver or something similar.

also...remember that you have to take off the grill shell from the hood....there is like 6 screws holding the shell to the hood of the truck.

I replaced the whole grill, about 8 plastic screws. Took me about 1/2 hour in the dark. The inserts are just little clips as others have said, just becareful not the scratch.
