Default AC problem

Newbie hopefully this is the right forum. I have a 2007 ram 1500 with the hemi. My Ac just went out and I can't figure out why. The compresure clutch engages and spins. So don't think the compressor is an issue. I bought the freon recharge bottle and it said it needed 50-55 lbs. I plugged it in and it registered around 50. Upped it to 55 just in case. Blew great for about an hour and it was done. Don't think it's a leak though because the freon registered it within the guidance. Is this a sensor problem?

thanks!!

Is the fan behind the condenser running when you turn on AC? Mine is just starting to be annoyingly loud, so I may be doing that repair myself soon.

Thanks for the reply! Just checked and the fan isn't running when the AC is on. Guess that's probably the culprit. Will get that replaced this weekend hopefully. Thanks again!!

When I had my truck the AC worked fantastic on the highway (Ice Cold) but in the city it blew warm air most of the time. My AC Condensor Fan also woudn't run when the AC was turned on... very common issue with our trucks once they start to get up in age.
