Default steering rack mounting bolts question 2004 ram

Hi all,

just a quick question about the mounting bolts on my 2004 dodge rams rack and pinion. I,m in the process of putting in a new one, and when I checked in the manual for torque specs I read this

NOTE: In the frame there is two holes for the
mounting of the steering gear one is slotted and
one is round, When tightening the gear to specifications
make sure to tighten the mounting bolt with
the hole first to avoided movement of the steering
gear.

Now when I look at mine they look identical, so what gives. the only thing I can think of is that either 1. this is for 4wd as mines 2wd, or 2. the manual is wrong. Any one have any idea? or should I just forget about it? Thanks
