Phantom Transmission Vibration
CV joint, or front shaft. I'd pull the front shaft being a 4x4 and go for a drive. If the vibration is gone it's in the front shaft, if not then it's a CV shaft. Pulling the rear shaft to check the joints is easy also. Both are cheaper than an alignment. Same here, Trying to figure out why he asked for help, and continues to ignore our advice?? I dunno, you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink.
Vibration in front end caused steering wheel to vibrate from 48-60mph, then at high speeds of appoximately 90mph
Multiple shops balanced and rotated tires all the way around.
CV axle was replaced on passenger side front.
Wheels were found to have too much runout, therefore a new wheel was purchased and swapped...problem continued.
SOLUTION.....replaced driver shaft.
Absolutely no vibration and runs like new.
Hope this helps someone else so they don't have to go through the same unknowing hell I did trying to fix it.
