Surge of Power at 2600RPM then Gone at 2800RPM?
I’ve had this unusual surge of power at around 2600 rpm while holding the pedal consistent as I increase from a stop. Sometimes I notice it more than others but it’s present with or with out a tune installed and with any grade of gas I use and has occurred for as far back as I can remember. Naturally I’d love to have power like that surge all the time as it’s a substantial boost. Does anyone have an idea where to begin with this mystery?

I used to have the same problem and for years I didn't know why and I still don't know why lol but recently I was hauling one of those big round bails and as I was getting up to speed the truck felt like one of the straps come off and I had run it over and ripped it off (sort of slowed down for a split second and something pulled the rear down further) but when I looked that wasn't it. A few days later I noticed the power surge was gone and I'm thinking it had something to do with being overloaded with the bail
