just got the truck its a 05 got a hemi and the 5spd auto and when im in park at idle or stopped in gear it truck vibrates just about every 2 seconds pretty loud.. you can feel it to.. it doesnt do it when driving ..dunno what it is but it doesnt hake me to happy.. And another thing when i backup somewhere from the rearend a rubbing noise happens every4 feet or so.. sounds like the brakes.. anyone havin this prob 2?

 

Check with your dealer. I just read the following on another forum. There are also a couple of flashes listed for idle vibration problems for the 05s

The TSB is 11-002-05. It is for the 05's only. It does go on the Y pipe under the drivers side seat but it is a rubber vibration dampner that is secured to the pipe with a metal C clamp. The only site I have found it on was ALLDATA. I have an 04 so I had to pay to have it done. That in itself is wrong but I won't even go there. It did seem to help.

History
Vibration Drone at idle 600-700 since I picked it up
Dealer replaced CATS and FAN --no Fixee

At about 4000 miles my idle went to 500 and no vibration/drone
However putting the AC on raises the idle to 600 and vibes return

NOW
Vibration for all practical purposes is gone at 600-700
BUT now I have it at 500 but only about 25% of what it was at 600
If I tap the pedal idle goes to 600 and vibes go away

Sounds like we got the same problem -

truck is a month old, 05 hemi QC, auto tranny 4x2. Seems like sometimes when i adjust the fan from high to off, i can get it to stop for a second or two, then loud noise again.

Let me know what you find out on this - i was debating on whether to take it to the dealer - worried that they would screw it up more and not identify the problem correctly.

Don't know about the vibration but my 04 Hemi Ram made a strange noise from the rear, sounded like brakes and after a bit of driving down the street with my head out the window and making sure it was a rear noise I put it on jacks pulled the tires and didnt see any thing wrong put the tires on spun them noise is there pulled back off and found a bar code label (sticker) on the brake/caliper somewhere like that, been awhile since i found it and I have been in Korea for about 3 months now and memory is bad, and every now and then it would scrape the wheel and make a god awful noise. Pulled the sticker off and no noise. not saying it is the same as yours but somthing so simple agrevated the day lights out of me. Hope it helps
