Default Cruise Issues

I have a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 with 123000 miles. OI was driving (for 3 hours) and all of the sudden the truck started accelerated (was in cruise at 65MPH for 2.8 hours prior to this issue). The truck kept accelerating until I turned the cruise off. Then it ran normal. Does anyone have any answers or experience for this issue????

Was/is the accel button stuck? Sometimes the cruise control buttons can get jammed after a while...

Default Cruise Issue

I have checked the buttons and also put electric contact cleaner on them and they are not sticking. But the issue continues.
