Default 03 2500 5.7 Oil Gauge Dropped off

Started the truck to warm it up this morning. Got in to head to work and the check gauges light was on with the oil pressure gauge reading no pressure. If I cycle the key off and on all of the other gauges cycle through bit the oil pressure gauge just comes up about 1/16" off the peg and that's it. Truck has oil and was running at normal temp. I was thinking if it was the sensor it would peg out one way or the other, not hover just off of the low side peg? Any thoughts? I put a new head and new ECM on this truck 6 months ago.

Maybe check with a mechanical gauge to be on safe side , have seen some of these motors get sludge an clog pickup oil tube , maybe change pcv valve and run some seafoam and change oil unless a new sending unit does not cure the issue as it might cause a low reading if going out , not necessarily peg out

Came out of work, checked oil again, cranked the truck up and everything worked fine... I'm betting on sensor now. Pcv valve is new. Not even half way through from the last mobile one oil change and truck ran fine the 15 min drive home.
