Got some serious issues going on. Start few mos ago power dr locks & key fob were not working intermitently Started to have probs with radio. At gas pump one day it stopped completely. I have NO; power dr locks radio, cigarette lighter & interior dome lights only work if truck is on or accessory. I Went for NYS inspection & my OBD port has no power. All fuses are good. Battery is good. I pulled the fuse box off fenderwell & checked pins on back for power& are good. I stripped back all grounds made good connections. Looked thru wiring harness best I could looking for burned broken frayed wires. Found none.
I have seen this issue on several sites & pay a online mechanic Even did one myself. He said sorry...& I can't answers. My truck is now over due for Insp. They can't pass or fail it( temp sticker would give me 30 days to repair) bcuz it won't communicate.
seen suggested solutions nothing firm saying ghis is the prob; Poss: Bad BCM, Dash cluster, relay or fuses behind the cluster.
