Replaced alternator with NAPA parts. Interstate battery is a brand spanking new MT-65. Used a voltage regulator to test. Consistent 14.58 volts. Im really concerned. Is there a separate voltage regulator that is stand alone that can be purchased and changed? Im at a loss and any help at all would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

 

14-15 volts is normal for alternator output with the engine running. Not sure what you are concerned about.

 

Yeah, what's the concern here....? Is the battery venting or hot?

 

Sounds like your battery is fine... Almost every vehicle that I have been in runs around 14 volts or so.
