I have an 06 Ram QC 1500 Hemi with the 7 speaker infinity system.. .. does that include a sub?? if so where?

No...it doesnt include a sub.

I have (had) the infinity system in my 05....1 speaker per door....3 dash speakers.....=7

 

Basically they're using the 2 front door speakers as subs which sounds like crap.

easy fix... get the under the rear seat stealth box and put a ten in it with a small amp et voila...

 

The 2 front door speakers get the bass frequency and the dash and rear door speakers get the mids/highs. Trust me. Replace those 6 speakers with some quality aftermarket ones and you'll be impressed. It's just like taking a blanket off the speakers. I have the RB4 HU with Sirius so I don't want to change that out. I am adding a sub box for 2 10 inch subs under the rear seat, over the holiday weekend, but with just replacing the 6 speakers, what a world of difference.
Early next year I will get a JL CleanSweep and power the door speakers. The factory HU is actually real nice once you open it up and push it to its potential.

 

i got rid of my factory infinity setup with 7-speakers and 6-disc head unit.

I added all new speakers....except for the center dash that you really cannot buy in a component kit.....

and i added a 10" infinity sub and a new head unit....the head unit AND speakers makes a world of difference.

im sure the stock HU would be ok...but remember and aftermarket deck has ALOT more options and sound control for the EQ and it sounds SICK!
