abarmby, do you still have the report and something about that time that refutes the mileage? Doesn't Carfax offer some warranty in regards to mileage rollbacks, titling, etc?
They do osteodoc08, but It doesn't cover an international purchase and the bummer is, I didn't check before I bought the truck so It's not really their problem.
I looked at the truck and it's overall condition reflected a lower millage reading.
So guys...........the moto is.............Beware buying before checking.
At least the Carfax check showed it hadn't been in a total and wasn't a lemon and didn't have finance/lost/stolen etc.
Thank God........
Al.

Hey Exchevy, you must let your truck idle day...that's crazy hours for that mileage! I know you up in Alberta, Canada, but what the heck do you do with that truck!?

I use it for work. I'm a Geneal Foreman For a road building company up here. I start it at 5:30am and it doesn't get shut off till 7:30pm on a daily basis. Just driving around site at low speeds and it does a lot of idleing as well.

I have replaced quite a bit of stuff but overall considering the application I'm using it in it's an excellent truck. We have ford, gmc, and dodges on our site and my 2004 ram has the best track record of them all as far as mechanical repairs go. It's very hard on trucks were I work, there are no roads yet in alot of the areas, the average vehicle lasts about 55000 kilometers, so I've just about doubled that.

2003 QC 4X4 shortbed Hemi on 20's, tints 6" lift kit Hard top tonneau.

49671 miles on the clock.

However , the truck has been imported into England from Texas and when I did a Carfax check, the oddometer was 10,000 miles or so short. Damn I HATE these criminals !!!!!
I didn't think you could roll back a digital mileometer reading?

The hours run are 2559.
If you change out your instrument cluster and computer at the same tme i belive that resets you to zero... not sure in our application but most GM vehicles if you just change out the cluster it resets.
