Question Oil change for 2005 Dodge Ram

I own a 2005 Dodge Ram Quad Cab with a 4.7 liter engine. I put between 2,000 - 3,000 miles on this truck A YEAR!! I put full synthetic in this truck. My question is should I change this oil every year or should I go longer between oil changes? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

I wouldn't prolong it more than once a year.

Factory service manual says:
Change engine oil and engine oil filter at interval
shown (every 3000 miles) or 3 months, whichever comes first.
Pretty sure you can vary that, but the reason the time interval is there is even if combustion by-products aren't getting into the oil (the whole reason for changing it normally), with temperature fluctuations, etc you can still get condensation and even though ideally the crankcase is supposed to be a closed system, foreign debris/particles still make their way in. The condensation part is especially important for your 4.7. as that engine family is known historically for it's death by sludge tendencies. So make sure when you are putting your 2000-3000 miles a year on it that it gets nice and warmed up (but not TOO warm, if you overheat it you might drop a valve seat lol) going down the road long enough to burn off any that may be in the crankcase.
