04 ram 1500 5.7 misfire

Thinking I'd revisit the spark plugs. If the gaps had opened up large, they're pretty much done across the boards. The 5.7 run 16 plugs - two per cylinder, one that fires on compression and one that fires on exhaust to help out on emissions by trying to burn unspent fuel. If you wanted to skimp on cost, you replace the 8 that fire on compression. I doubt the exhaust fire would be causing the misfire code. I always find ways to save a pile on parts, typically finding a 25% off advance auto coupon - or ordering online.

Well un plugging the 02 sensors seemed to keep the misfire away. But the next thing ill replacr once i have thr money will be the spark plugs. Thanks for the help

Given that data, I'd probably replace the o2s first. But I'd put plugs on my list when I could afford to change them out.
