Hey guys, I just bought a low mile 2004 2500 4x4 Laramie Hemi. It has the Factory row package, 7-pin connector on the bumper and a hitch on the crossmember underneath. I have looked all over under the drivers side for the blue connector to connect my Tekonsha brake controller harness for Dodge trucks. I pulled this setup out of my 2002 Dakota, which had the blue connector pinned to the top of the big connector near the left side toeboard of the drivers side.

On this truck, I have looked for hours and can’t find a 4 pin connector of any color. Wondering if anyone else ha shad this problem with a 2004 2500 ram. I’m at a total loss of what to do.

i need to go pick up 3 tons of top soil and can’t find a place to hook up my brake controller, any help would be appreciated.

its hooked to the top of the harness disconnect (large white rectangle) near the parking brake. Big bundle of wires right in front, probably blocking your view. Not the easiest thing to plug in.

 

I found my brand new factory harness in my glovebox for brake controller and it had instructions. Like fj5gtx said, it is near the parking brake and you will find the plug.
